Batch Tag
Batch Tag Printing System is a computer software application designed
to produce load tags in batch mode. The System allows both in-house and finished goods load tags to
be printed automatically or on demand.
Using the Batch Tag System, Operators have the ability to preview a tag set,
modify selected information and select whether or not the load tags are printed immediately. Operators
can control whether all or a portion of the tags are printed at one time, generate additional load
tags to accommodate overruns and produce a last blank tag that allows them to manually record the
piece count for the final unit.
The Batch Load Tag System operates in conjunction with an installed Avista
Plant Floor Network and File Server. All data required by the System is obtained from the Orders
Database stored on the fileserver. Each order record contains all static information required on the
load tag including the total order quantity, the number of pieces per unit, the number of tags
required per unit and the load tag style code.

KEY BENEFITS:
- Allows both in-house and finished goods load tags to be printed on demand.
- Accommodates numerous load tag formats to meet Plant and Customer requirements. Information can
be presented in any combination of alphanumeric, embedded graphics and Code 39 (3 of 9) and 128 bar
code formats.
- Formatted load tags improve the appearance of outgoing loads and enhance the Plant's reputation
for quality and service.
