Planning Board
Planning Board provides a real time,
graphical representation of the order queue for downstream converting. Using a Gantt Chart format,
the run sequence, processing time and stock availability is shown for each machine center. If an
order is scheduled but not yet corrugated, its start time is based on the time the order will complete
at the corrugator as calculated by the Setup Manager application. All values are automatically
updated at each dry end change.
Using the Planning Board, orders can easily be resequenced or moved between
machine centers to balance work. Upon the user committing and saving the desired changes, these
changes to the production plans are instantaneously communicated to all system users. Users can
then analyze the impact such moves will have on the Corrugator Schedule and develop Converting
Schedules that maximize production and meet established delivery requirements.
Planning Board is designed to interface with an Alliance Plant Floor
Solution database and display the production schedule for all production equipment. The system
can sort orders by Order or Date, Customer Name, Blank Size, Flute and Colors. The sorting order
of priority is configurable by the plant.
